Hi mate :) Welcome to the forum! 17 inch are the perfect size for the Polo. Do you have any colour preference? Black/Silver?

Well mate i dont really but would prefer silver as at least in the event you kerb them then it isnt as noticeable as black. I have been toying with the idea of Team dynamics 1.2's but not 100% sure :?

What size are these? Do they catch the arches? Either on lock or with people loaded in?

You can't get genuine ones in 17" I believe. You can get heavy replicas in 17" though! Any 18" rims on a Polo will cause rub at some point.

On the picture are replica's in 18 inch!

They don't hit the arches. The Polo GTI on the picture is lowered with a coilover set till the setting it didn't hit the arches anymore while driving. Stock GTI, or other type, will be standing MUCH! higher.

We drove it with 3 people in the car on that setting on bumpy road. Didn't hit anything!
