milltek benefits

Hi, im wondering about a milltek cat back instead of a turbo back system whats the benefits from this in terms of a remap and what not? Also what splitter for the gti do you people recommend? Thanks for any help

The downpipe on the polo GTI is the most restrictive part of the system. You can only go stage two when you have an upgraded downpipe fitted so in my eyes this part is the most beneficial. The standard cat back system is very good and only small gains are had from upgrading this part of the exhaust. Hope that helps.

I've been doing some research about this and i've decided to buy the full system once i have the suitable funds to do so. Thanks for the help mate also good luck with the sale of your downpipe.

I've heard having the de-res gives you a minor but a better gain than the resonated. I believe the source was a Miltek stockers.
