exors or montreal IIs on blue 9n?

Post by logistix »

hello everyone,
i want to change my wheels but i can't decide which way to go. i think it will either be 16" Montreal II's or 17" Exors. Here's a polo, the same color as mine with exors from polo9n.com:

i think that the montreals look wicked, and i have doubts about 17"s being too large. currently i have 14"s. Please help me decide, what do you think? do you have any other suggestions (preferrably from VW wheels)?

thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

17s are not too big. Exors i think look the best if u are going for OE wheels!

Get the Exors becuase they look better, and are 17" and people wont come up to you saying "ooh look you have Golf alloys"
save yourself the bother. Ive seen Exors on a Polo, they look bling bling but the roads in Istanbul are so bad you might need to take the 16s and up the tyre profile so the ride isnt so bad

tornado,
you think the profile for the exors would cause problems in bad roads? how nasty could the ride become, in comparison with 16"?

Bad, you will be able to feel most bumps on the road and the pot holes will feel more like wells. If i was you, I would get the 16s and have more tyre to absorb the bumps while still loking bling 8) or get the 17s but stick to the quality roads like the TEM or E5. But even they have some huge holes at some parts if i remember correctly.
Ask KarlM or Speedy if they could kindly do you a photoshop of your car with both wheels on but be sure to make it a nice clear side view of the car. Im sure which ever you chose, the car will end up looking a lot better

yes they are very similar, they don't have the pins that san marinos have plus the spokes are thinner (i think)
