AP Coilovers

Alright guys, Ive just got a Polo GTi and have been weighing up coilover options, at the moment im thinking AP's sound like the best option for me and was wondering if anyone had experience of these? I basically want to know how the ride is, and how low they can go.

I did have budget FK coilies on my old Polo 9n3, and after about 2 years were seized and the helper springs had corroded and broken into 4 pieces. Which is most likely my fault for not maintaining them anyway, but I dont fancy FK this time around.

Also any other coilover recommendations around the £400-£500 mark are welcome to.
