coilovers.

Post by Crippin »

Heyhey.
Recently had to buy new coilovers as one snapped. I got the FK Highsports I think they are. They say it should go 95 on the front and 100 on the rear. I'm happy with the rear for now but the front looks way to high. Anybody got any ideas on how to get it lower without causing damage?

That is a stunning car. Coilovers come with helper springs they can be run without for an extra 20mm or do drop there's a lot of debate on wether you should run with the helpers out though.

If you've got helper springs remove them.
They are fully compressed anyway so all they are doing is acting like a spacer under the large spring, wasting vital lowering space.
I've never ran helper springs and allways been fine.

I know I took the helper spring out the backs but I think I left the fronts in as I thought it'd be a really bouncy ride. I'll jack it up soon and have a look-c. If they're out, what else is there? Cheers :)
