Can I have induction kit on my 6n2?
Can I have induction kit on my 6n2?
Hi I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I could install an induction kit on my 1.0 6n2? The reason I'm not sure is because of the engine cover, it has 3 pipes which connect to it for the air filters I suppose probably breathers. Could I just remove the cover or will it give me problems? Any advice is appreciated and would be great if someone has pictures of there's. I'm 17 and just bought my polo, got some new alloys on the way and few other bits, it's going to be a good project I think
I will probably be uploading pictures as I progress

Not sure if you can properly see, and sorry for the bad pic but Here's my 6n2 1.0 and Yea i gotta induction, K&N And once you remove the factory cover I'm sure you'll see how it's done
Good luck too

Thanks for the reply
so that's just a filter straight on then pipe coming for air feed? Seems a good idea, thanks
Re: Can I have induction kit on my 6n2?
Pretty much Josh, look once you remove the cover you'll see where everything goes, oh and btw our little 1.0 aren't so powerful so don't expect a major performance enhancement but sure sounds better ;~)

No I'm not expecting any change in performance really, just want my engine bay to look and sound better

They also supply a BMC CDA kit which will fit on the 1.0 Polo's
It is more expensive but looks really smart under the bonnet

From personal experience the BMc on the 1.0 was a massive let down for me, ended up selling mine just my opinion.
