Rattling Noises

Hi all

Im having several rattling noises from under my bonnet. The car is 10 reg 1.4 SE with 35k on the clock.

The first is when I start the engine, I know they arent the quietst on the start but there is a tapt tapt noise that doesnt go till the engine warms up. It seems more pronounced than it usually was (also the car idles ar 1100 rev now when cold idle).

The second is when the engine is cold but under load, theres a low frequncy vibrations upto about 2000rpm this also goes when the engine has warmed up.

The last one is after a long journey and the engine is hot there is a dull tapping noise every 1/2 seond when idling. the noise comes the front of the egine where the alternator and aux belt is located.

I was wondering if anyone has any experince with these and would it be worth sending it into the dealer for investigation?

Hiya

Mine is a 2012 1.4 16v and when engine is cold i get a flut flut flut sound until she has warmed up. Not taken back as goes when warm. Plus if it's gonna break still got 2 &1/2 years warranty left

thanks good news if a car 2 years younger has it maybe its just the design.
