As title says, does anyone know how much I need to order per front head light? Also, how exactly to you apply it to your lights as they arent flat...
Thanks.
How much lamin-x to use...?
Re: How much lamin-x to use...?
depends what color you goin for there bud???
Darker shades i'd say go with one application....but i found that when i did my headlights with yellow i need 2 sheets per light as 1 sheet looked like someone p*ssed on my headlights
also get a good strong blowdryer one heated you can manipulate the laminex into any shape (you just require patience and a steady hand) and soap up the lights before applying so that if you indeed make an error you can start over....overall Laminex is a very forgiving material to work with and it also breathes so the air bubble and water spots will dissapear in a week or two (depends how much sun there is to draw it out though - i suggest drive with your headlights on day or night to heat up the air and liquid to evap

What I meant was, what size sheets do I need to cover the front headlights, it has 12 x 4 as normal I think, I just wondered if anyone new what size I needed.
So your meant to have clean head lights and then have a small amount of water on the lights when your applying the film to it?
Re: How much lamin-x to use...?
My apologies... you will need about Half a metre for each light in front - reason i am unsure to give you measurments is last time i bought laminex i bought it off a roll instead of pre cut sheets hence i could just say how much i required.
but i'd say half metre squared to be sure.
