Hi, I've a 53 plate Polo, 1.9 diesel, I've had it a while now, & the edge of the drivers seat has worn away exposing the foam material inside...so it needs replaced.

Question for the guru's;

Do I have to replace the seat with a original Mk4 driver seat.

or; can I fit a Golf/Passat etc, something with a bit more comfort/style/height adjustment etc.

Also if you can, is it a bog standed swap, or is there a few tweeks to be done.

Not up to speed on these things as you may guess..

Someone must have an idea...

You can fit anything from a 9n or 9n3 polo

Some seat ibizas and skoda fabias will fit too.

Anything else can be made to fit, but welding is required.
