I am selling my GTi as I am emigrating. The car has covered just over 91k, has a full service history (handbook stamped up to a point and receipts for all work from there on). Totally stock, with 2 brand new Yokohama S-drives on front and 2 on the back with 10K/1 year on them, Brand new MOT, 5 months tax. It has the 6-disc changer with standard stereo, ACC, cloth seats with no rips or tears. Had had the gearbox reconditioned around a year ago and a new clutch at around the same time, the cambelt was done 2 years ago when I bought it.
Bad points: There is a dent in the rear quarter on driver's side where someone went into the side of me (its not awful, but just being honest and will provide pics on request), however this will either be fixed before sale or the cost of repair deducted from asking price (up to you). There is also a scratch on rear bumper at the bottom which previous owner has attempted to touch up, again not that bad, I did buy a touch up kit, just haven't had time to do it, will include with car when sold.
Needs a drivers side mat as it is quite worn (there is a few holes) however the rest are pretty good. I have the boot carpet, however something leaked on it which smells, I will try to clean it, however I am going to enquire about the cost of a new one in case it doesnt come out, and I will pay for this out of my own money as I want everything as good as possible when I sell it.
I have the original handbook and both keys.
Am currently waiting for an estimate on repairing the dent so can't be exact with price yet, but if I get it fixed will be looking for around £1500. Without fixing it again will depend on the cost but will just deduct it from the £1500

I am willing to listen to offers though guys, as long as they're sensible. And I have pictures of exterior and interior, and the dent on the rear quarter. I haven't had time to get a quote to repair this damage yet, however i'm not going to be unrealistic, or try to rip anyone off, I have checked numerous classifieds and know what these cars are going for. 90K for a W-reg 2000 car is relatively low mileage by comparison, and bar the dent and small scratch/touched up area I mentioned, you would be surprised how good the rest of the bodywork is. And I am entirely willing to get a quote, and give any prospective buyers the number of whoever repairs it and will give permission myself for them to talk to prospective buyers so you know I have either been honest with the price to get it fixed, or knocked enough off the price so the deal is fair.

Re: 2000 W-reg 6N2 GTI FOR SALE
The Value of these cars has dropped substantially in the last 2 years so despite £1900 being cheap it is probably still slightly over priced based on today’s market
Some were selling for £1800 last year with 80K miles on the clock so £1900 is a little overpriced to be honest, especially with the damage it has.
Chances are the car would be written off with minor damage these days due to the age & value of the car so that may put potential buyers off too
I would price it at £1500 mate and see how you get on, it's a lot of car for the money but sadly it's all they are worth these days.

i just managed to get £1750 for mine with low miles and a fortune spent with history, they were fetching about £2500 when i bought it and i only had it 6 months.
its sad but they have little value now.

I have adjusted price now. I am putting it at £1500, and will listen to sensible offers. No part ex though as i am moving abroad and have no need for it. Also, have just managed to get the bumper plastic which transferred to my quarter panel from the girls clio bumper. There is no scratching whatsoever thankfully, just the dent which im sure could be knocked out. I have photos from immediately after it happened and from just now after getting the plastic off. Obviously i'm not saying it looks great, I hate to see any bumps, dents or scratches on any car I own, I like to maintain my cars to a high standard regardless of cost. Usually always service them at dealers and have any work done there too, for peace of mind more than anything. Its always run on premium unleaded too, as I think it feels much better even though the handbook says to use 95RON.
