Ones matched with dampers. The VWR springs Re supposedly matched to the factory damper rates so they should be good. Try and find the supplier to VWR though, you will get them much cheaper if they aren't painted bright blue.... Like their intakes.....

Honestly mate, ive seen a polo with VWR springs fitted, and i actually had to ask if it had been lowered. Obviously they stiffen the ride up to improve handling, etc. but if you want a noticable difference id go with the H&R 35 - 55. Have these on mine, stance is perfect. Yes the ride is a little more bumpy, but the GTI isnt the smoothest ride from factory. Plus theres a set in the for sale section i think for £80 rips. VWR like Gavs said are a fortune for what they are. Hope that helps you mate. :)

Get coilovers? only voids the warranty on the suspension parts and how many cars you know that have suspension trouble from new?

Hahaha how many new cars have power steering pumps go faulty from new :? I think mine was either a sneeky recall or some smoke and mirrors. As i had had no symptoms up until the get in it to drive. :? :?: but yep coilovers are the way i will be going. How low can you actually go without cutting the collars?

Few guys that come to the meets use a company called Low Standards, so dropped them a message and they have managed get akit for the 6R :D should be getting it in the new year when I get my bonus :D looking at 2-3thousand depending on what setup I go as they offered two different air shocks so gotta debate between the two.
