New Member - Black Polo 6R 1.4
Hello everyone.
It's been a while since I've looking at this forum and I have to admit that I really liked many of your posts / photos of your polos. Actually I liked them so much I decided to go for some mods for my Polo.
I bought my Polo 6R in December 2009 - 3 years ago (it was about time for some mods)
It's a 1.4, 85PS Polo, DSG. After 3 years and around 50000km, I can say that I am really satisfied with it - both the car and DSG
First mod I made was the Sima 15'' alloy whees:
http://www.volkswagen-accessories.ie/si ... loy_wheels
Alongside with Dunlop FastResponse 185/60 R15 84H tyres (pretty good tyres - the tyres that Polo was shipped in were Dunlop SP01, so I decided to go with Dunlop again).
Here's a photo of the tyre and the alloy wheels:
And 2 photos of the car:

I've also made some changes to the interior of the car.
First of all, I bought one alu ring for light switch from here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380489210408?ss ... 1497.l2649
And two for mirror adjuster:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/261112532052?ss ... 1497.l2649
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380501550862?ss ... 1497.l2649
The output:
Some chrome alu rings for the climatic from here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380452217242?ss ... 1497.l2649
Also I bought a stand for my cellphone which I use with Sygic GPS:
3 chrome steering wheel trims came from here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120956919334?ss ... 1497.l2649
So the output of internal of the car is now like this:
Also a matching keyring keychain:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/170897812534?ss ... 1497.l2649
Next mods:
- Red line in the front (like jakovdub - inspired job ).
- Stainless steel pedal pads.
- Rear muffler trim.
- RCD 310 + USB.
Feel free to add here (I am not that into the mods that need too much work though, so please easy ones)

Hey mate, Jakovdub here... i see you have a black 6R, before my white 6R i had a black one that was involved in a crash and was sadly written off but i did the same black badge and red strip with that! thought i would inspire you some more with the work i carried out! i believe the stripe just adds something completely different instead of the GTI Grill and much more cheaper! The used Plastidip for the badge which is a rubber coating in a spray can and peels off whenever you get bored of it! best thing ever invented! also the strip is vinyl bought for about £4 off ebay and it's been through tough british weather and has not peeled yet! amazing stuff! Anyway here is my Old black polo and my current white polo

OK, after this photo of the black polo with the red line, I am convinced
Where did you get the badge cover?

Re: New Member - Black Polo 6R 1.4
hey guys sorry for the super late reply! it's hard to get on here at work....
the badge was plast dipped with a can off plasti dip from ebay this is the link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PLASTIDIP-PLA ... 27ce203772
Also the red vinyl is on the link below, it is called dark red 133 on the scroll down menu on the item:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... AQ:GB:1123
with the tape just take your time! if you get it wrong first time then you can do it again you will have 1m roll slot the vinyl in the top of the chrome trim and then fold it over, if you need any help then don't hesitate to ask or PM me

Hello again.
Just bought some red vinyl tape from 3M (similar to this:http://solutions.3m.co.uk/wps/portal/3M ... 7QGNB5Z4gl) and made the red stripe.
It looks great (the photo is not that clear - sorry).
Thanks again to Jakovdub for the brilliand idea
