Anyone know how to reset the service indicator on the mk4 98 16V?
It was serviced 2 months ago and now it has come on again, please tell me I dont have to go to the dealers to get it reset.

I had to do this as well when I bought mine.
With the ignition switched off, press and hold thr trip meter reset button below the speedometer.
Switch the ignition on, and hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds. Dashes will appear in the display. The service indicator has been reset.
Switch off the ignition.
Simple really.
Though my local VW dealer advised me to come in to have it done....
