Flat Battery

I have a 2003 Polo 1.2 manual. It has a new battery and the garage says the alternator is ok. The battery goes flat after about a week of non-use. The garage cannot trace a fault but thinks there is a battery drain.

A week ago, I drove it for about 70 miles on an A road so the battery had a good charge. Still flat today.

Any help in sorting this out will be appreciated.
