Hello everybody,
I have just bought a Mk 5 for my daughter and unfortunately it has a dodgy ignition switch.
Can some kind soul out there give me some pointers as to how to change it and what is the recommended make of the replacement part ?
Many thanks,
S.

Re: Help with replacing ignition switch
Welcome
Use only a genuine VW ignition switch - pattern parts arent reliable for things like this
Id suggest you get a haynes manual as the replacement isnt the easiest as it requires drilling at a very specific point on the steering column to extract the old one
