handbrake light beeping and flashing

got a 1998 1.0l 6n polo its on axle stands on the front at the moment and ive done a complete engine swap and started it for the first time with no problems today but the handbrake warning light beeps and flashes when i rev my car any ideas? might be something simple just wanna check before i road test it ? please help asap thank you

It's on but it doesn't normally flash and beep even if I try to drive with it on?

If its on axle stands, and you are in gear for example (or sometimes not in gear), the hubs will rotate and with the handbrake on, itll think you are driving with the handbrake on

I wouldnt worry - it shouldnt happen when its back on the ground.
