polo not choking

polo 98 1.4 16v

from cold no choke it starts ok but some times it stalls
idling at 850 rpm

before this problem it used choke from cold at 1000 rpm and
after warm up it came down to 850 rpm

can some 1 help me with this problem

sounds like a similar issue to mine.. mine seems to like idling at 1k rpm
slso when sitting at lights it'll flip between 1.5k and 1.8k rpm..
i think the throttle body is either fecked or gunged up. going to try the advice i've been given alreeady on here and clean it - failing that just get it replaced under my RAC warranty.

ok i give throttle body clean and see what happens

is there any adjustment after clean

Either a dirty throttle body or a faulty temp sender. The sensor is located on top on the thermostat housing, most VW dealer should know what you're talking about since this part goes bad very, very often.

The result is rough or too high idling, sometimes stalling, etc etc.

You don't need to reset the TB if you leave it in place. If you take it off, I've been told you DO need to have it reset.
