FOR SALE :(

Post by C17LJR »

Afternoon all,

Just signed up, been lurking for a while as the wife has a white 1.4 5dr.

Just sorted wheels so next up is lowering, seen NMavs is selling some H&R springs so thought I better sign up to get in touch with him :)

Pics to follow once the wheels are delivered and sent off to the powdercoaters :)

The golf is a auto 12v 2.8 vr6 just now, that's being replaced with 24v 2.8 from the mk4 4motion and also converted to manual

Shes happy for wheels and it to be lowered, I tried the wheels on the polo but see doesn't like any of them

17" 3pc OZ futura

17" 2pc OZ mito in carbon, also have a polished set

17" ABT V1s

Also tried out my 18" audi fat fives from my a4, too wide though

Thanks Nathan, the golf is a long term thing, got loads collected, just need to wait til the engine is in then I can start building it up

Well as you know, I've sorted suspension so will get that on soon, wheels are due for delivery Tuesday but could do with a luck of paint, then work out tyres and adapters.

Hopefully her new private plate will be with us this week too

It's a shame that the OZs aren't going on but the OEM ones look good, are they 17"?

Oh and the Audi wheels would have looked awesome 8)

Yeah, 17x7.5, should fit well once adapters are on.

The audi ones are 18x8.5, too wide for the wife even though she loves the look
