If your stickers are outside fitment (I got a pair of these), then I found the best way to stick them on was to peel the backing card off, using a rolling action (folding the card back on itself, and rolling the backing off the letters using your thumb). With the backing removed, I just positioned them on my windows, ran my finger up and down the paper that covers the letters a couple of times to make sure they stick, and peeled the top bit of paper off at an angle so it doesn't remove the letters from the window/bodywork.

Karl.
