Gearbox!
Will a mpi gearbox fit the polo Gti lump????

Yes, but the ratios are no where near correct for the 1.6, plus theres no guarantee itll handle over 5x the torque

ok thanks, im looking to do an engine conversion but the car has a leaky box, so was planning to change it after running 1.0 box, also if i change whole interior loom will it just be straight fit? also could i just do engine loom?

You should be able to just do engine loom
You would honestly be best to replace the leaking seals and use the GTI box. Using the mpi box isn't a good idea at all.
