Morning,
Just purchased for my wife a 1.2 TSI R Line in 5 door in reflex silver (VW main dealer Demonstrator)
I do like to fiddle with cars so would like some advice / parts info please.
I would like to fit the headlights with the built in DRL's
Whats involved, what parts are required, is there any coding required?
Lowering springs. who supplies the best whilst retaining ride quality?
Alloys PCD, ET and widths in 16 or 17 without any rubbing issues.
lastly any good tuning upgrades available in the Kent area?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 1.2 TSI R Line parts advice
Hi, the headlights you're referring to I presume you mean the xenons? Whilst the unit itself shouldn't be too much of a task to change, to be legal and/or pass an MOT they would require headlight washers and the self levellers to be installed along with the lights, which IMO the cost of doing so completely doesn't seem worth it. I'm sure there is a thread somewhere though that it may have been done on ( can't remember where ), have a look around, will give you a better idea!Dansdad wrote:Morning,

Springs: I have the Eibach ones on my R Line ( Same as supplied through VW parts), 30mm drop. To be honest it gives it a nice low look, handles much better and is comfy enough to not really notice much difference other than if you're going over bumps. A lot of people seem to swear by the kit with 55mm springs in ( Can't remember which this is!!
There is a thread dedicated to lowered polos, here: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... it=lowered
