Odd noise at just over 1k

Hi all,

I have an odd noise at just over 1k revs, it doesn't always happen for instance i can start the car and the noise be there, drive down the road and it goes. Or i can not here it for hours then it will just randomly start always at that amount of revs.

Just wondering if anyone knows what it may be? i was thinking possibly a faulty sound actuator.

I had a similar noise on mine. Was due the the shift cables rubbing on the exhaust hear shield underneath

I had a rattle noise between 2k and 2.5k
Turned out to be a fuel pipe resting against the block.
