Boot Light Not Working

Hello

Quick question in case someone can help - the boot light in my 2010 Polo has stopped working. It isn't a fuse & the light on the dash works fine - had it tested and there isn't any power to the light. Any suggestions on what it might be & if it's easy to get replaced? Not keen on wasting money at the dealer's for something so minor... it's just nice to have it working at night!

When you check the power, did you note that the light boot has an operating period determined by the BCM? and when you did the checking there was no power.

Look into the spares box of lights you have. Easier to get impossible.

Try a new boot lock thats normally the problem for a boot light inop.
