Removing vw badge from r line grill

Is removing the VW badge the same as old ones?...twist off?

Or do i need to have the grill off?

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Press trim -1- out of upper bracket -arrow a- with a screwdriver -3-.
– Pull trim -1- upwards at an angle -arrow b- out of lower bracket.


– Press upper locking hook -3- together with a screwdriver -2--arrow a- and prise out of radiator grille -5--arrow b-.
– Pull emblem -1- with both lower locking hooks -4- upwards at an angle -arrow c- out of radiator grille -1-.

Installing

Carry out following work:
– Insert emblem -1- with locking hooks -2- into recesses in radiator grille -3--arrow a-.
– Turn emblem in -direction of arrow b- until locking hooks -2- engage.


– Insert trim -1- downwards at an angle -arrow a- into lower bracket in radiator grille -2-.
– Press trim -1- into upper bracket -arrow b-.

Just twist it, seperate it off the car if need be
