Key Fob Central Locking Problem

Hello,

So today I changed my headlight dipped bulb and sidelight bulb for some MTECs. After fixing it all up, I go to lock the car with the key fob and I hear the locking noise but there is no light flash from indicator bulbs upon doing so, like there usually is. So I go to investigate and the doors are indeed locked, but the car does not seem to be registering it as the interior lights also don't turn off immediately after locking, as they usually do.

Does anyone know if that's due to the ligh bulb change, or is it just a coincidence and are unrelated?

Is the bonnet shut properly? This will cause what you are seeing if it isnt.

It was the boot/trunk. It was unlocked...
