MK4 Sub install

Post by david burton »

Well, over the last couple of nights I have taken my original sub box andmessed about to get more of a custom fit look.

here are the pics. please excuse my mismash of wood and geometry, the polo boot isn't flat and it's a b1tch to get things sitting properly! I didn't do a false floor because I still want to be able to get the spare wheel out. Basically I made a frame for the current box to sit on, then covered the two visible sides of the box with angled layers of MDF to attach the felt to. I'm chuffed!

Any ideas on where I should mount the amps? I was thinking one on the seat and one on the RHS.
