Can the heated seats be programmed to remember setting?

I use heated seats all the time for about 2/3 of the year, but since VW moved from the wheel-like control a few years ago to a two-setting on/off switch, I have to switch them on EVERY time I start the engine.

Is there any way they can be programmed using VAGCOM or whatever to remember the previous setting and come on automatically when I start the engine?

The good ol' days:

I'm afraid not.
The electrical supply on the heated seats is from the fuse SB37, not through the BCM.

This is the only communication signal: T73a/36 Signal off seat heating

Ignore, I need to work out the codeing. It can be done on a mk7 golf and therfore it should be possible on the 6C

I have sent the adaption maps to Ross Tech. The mk7 golf can do it, so the polo should too. Will try messing with the coding when I have some spare time.
