Welcome to THE UK POLO FORUM
Obviously your favorite car is the POLO 6R in Black.
Beautiful R-line with interesting modifications.
We hope to learn from your experiences with three different engines.

Here's a good guide to MFSW http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 71#p421709
however there is a better way to connect the cables.
- The electrical supply to the fuse box. SB10 (2amp) .... OEM
- The data signal LIN BUS to connector door T28a/16 .... easy way

Thanks !

To be honest the 1.2 60hp was worst one. It's dangerous because there is not enough hp (too long to over take,...) and it's not an economic engin :)

The 1.4 was fun.

The 1.6 tdi is a really good engine. It's perfect for city but Also for highway ! But I prefer benzin engine :(

For the mfs, I unfortunately need a new airbag :(

Airbag:
http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en/sh ... rs-airbag/

With all the money you'll save with that link you can install automatic lights OEM. http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 09#p478298
It is only a recommendation.

What make are your alloys? I typed in Donnington and it came up with TSW wheels but doesn't look like it.

Hello!

Welcome to the forum! Very nice Polo!! it looks a lot like mine (i have not yet lowered sadly)

I didnt know you have to change the airbag for the MFSW control?? Ciclo can you enlightened me on this?

Ciclo's kit for automatic lights is a very nice upgrade! i did it myself. very easy if you have some technical skills! (if not i can help :D) also not expensive and Ciclo is very helpfull through the process! Check out his car and the many upgrades he has done!

P.S. i didnt like the r-line interior either, saving up for custom Recaro racing seats :D

About the airbag Yatoo, I can not say, every country has different configurations of optional equipment.
Maybe he has damaged aribag. :?:

An image of his steering wheel would help.

Hello !

I think I found the solution for not replace the airbag:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/331425393750

My wheels are "VW Scirocco Donington" (Ronal)

For the auto light, I saw posting it on polo6r.fr a long time ago, it's nice but it's not my priority :)

Logically, if you do not install the appropriate harness your multifunction steering wheel will never work. As I said, you have a perfect guide in this forum.

Again, Welcome to the Best forum of the world about VW POLO. In this forum are respected all the users, you can make all kinds of comments freely.
Unlike the French, German and Spanish forum (and others), where there are particular interests and SHARING is not the priority. Image

I apologize for commenting this in your thread, but sometime and somewhere had to say it.

Agreed. I have been on here for a couple of months and have yet to encounter any animosity - remarkable for a car forum. Welcome, Yatoo... and sorry for hijacking your thread :)

Yep I had to find a D version of the harness :) If it doesn't work, I put all my MF in the bin :)

I made some holes in my rear pumper to put back my beep beep (as I call them :p)

For the rest, yep I agree but it's really annoying to wait the moderator to publish :(

Just VW Donnington (and are made by Ronal (Most VW wheels are))... They are available on other models than the Scirocco. ;)
