Ap rear adjusters + idle problems

Hi all,

I have ap coilovers on my 9n3 gti and the rears are all the way down but it still sits fairly high and the front is lower and I'm not fussed. Do people just remove the rear adjusters then to get them lower? And if so do people have an issues with this at all or is it okay and save to do?
also I don't know if anyone has experienced this but my car now on a cold start will fluctuate the revs slightly and before it would always idle below 1000rpm but now it sits on 1000rpm if not a little higher, I was thinking throttle body playing up but it's nit thrown any lights up on the day and I've gave it a good clean and hasn't seen to made any difference? The temp and everything else is okay.. Could anyone give me any advice on this if they've experienced this before or anything?
