Hi All
I've got to take the front bumper off tomorrow for my PDC install.
Is it a simple 3 bolts on arch, a few underneath then prize it off or do you need to take the grill and lights off first ?
Also, when making holes for the pdc sensors what's the best way to do it ? pilot hope from inside, mask and drill from the outside ?? (that's how I've always done it).
Thanks
Rob

Have a look at this link

You'll have to remove the headlights, and remove some screws retaining the grill but you won't have to take it off

Perfect, thanks.
Re: 6r Front Bumper Removal
You need to unclip the plastic grille off first with the bonnet open, after that there are x3 screws in the left and right front wheel arches, then I think 6 screws, x2 with washers to unscrew under the entire length of the bumper lip.
FYI half of my screws were rusted and UN-moveable so I had to give up

Wow, are you installing the OEM front parking system? How are you planning to drill the holes? I'm very curious and jealous

Re: 6r Front Bumper Removal
I've got the VAG genuine hole punch which is the exact size and makes the hole without damage to the painted surface.
You're more than welcome to borrow it !
The OPS / PDC install is actually easy. Nothing is particularly challenging, just a little time consuming. I bought the kit from Carsystems in Poland who sell the kit for nearly £400, however I bought it off Ebay US, and got it for £263 inc shipping which for OEM front and rear OPS / PDC is pretty dam good !
Only issue is I think the picture on my RNS315 is a Scirocco but I'm sure I'll be able to change that with VCDS.
