My New Polo Blue GT
Re: My New Polo Blue GT
Enjoy! Satisfying to see the 'sold' sign.
Re: My New Polo Blue GT
Thanks, will be even better to drive her. Managed to negotiate the chrome tail pipes in with the deal, so they are getting fitted this week.

Superb car, I'm sure you will love it. I still can't quite get my head around the current trend for anthracite wheels, though. My silver ones looked just like those this morning, until I spent 5 minutes cleaning the brake dust off.
Re: My New Polo Blue GT
Ha ha, yeah the wheels do look brake dust colour, that was part of the appeal for me
Its going in to the garage next week for the exhaust trims to get fitted.
Im thinking of getting some door sill protectors next along with some sports peddles can anyone recommend any pedals?. I would have thought the sill protectors would have come as standard.

Sill protectors: I made my own and (IMHO ), they're more effective - and a LOT cheaper - than VW'sCiblueGT wrote:Ha ha, yeah the wheels do look brake dust colour, that was part of the appeal for me

Exhaust trims are a must on the BGT, but you don't need to get the dealer to do them. They are push-on and take literally 5 seconds each
Your wheels aren't all that darker than mine really. They're not offered here in France anyway, so I didn't have the choice.
Re: My New Polo Blue GT
Thanks TheFrog , I will look in to the sill protector idea. Did you also fit your sporty pedals yourself?

Nah, I don't like so-called sports pedals. They're invariably less grippy than the originals and rarely look very nice.CiblueGT wrote:Thanks TheFrog , I will look in to the sill protector idea. Did you also fit your sporty pedals yourself?

It's funny that not even the dealer can figure out that you have to use a hammer to install the exhaust trims.
