Carista phone app - VAG coding/ error code reading

Has anyone used the carista phone app?
lets you read engine codes and and do some coding to the car/ customization (not retrofits)
Does a few of the options that you need VCDS so can be a cheaper(legal lol) alternative to VCDS if you only want to code the options it offers
Used the trial app on my phone to see what can be coded on my car, my friend purchased the full version which allows the coding, so ill be seeing him on monday to see if its any good.

Coded the one press unlock, alarm chirp and tear drop windscreen washer wipers. I tried to code coming home lights but I don't think they work.
Disappointed I wasn't able to do the needle sweep, there's an update soon so hopefully there will be more features added.

I'll give it a go with my wifi OBD reader - seems the App (iOS) is free. Always fancied the hazard light flash on 'emergency' breaking - haven't got VCDS. This seemingly supports the 6R also - not sure what you drive Saty.

App itself is free, requires an in app purchase to activate the coding, Ive got a 6r

Yeah for £15 I was a bit disappointed; same as Saty; coded the one press unlock & alarm chirp. Everything else was already 'on' so how does that work, I.e the emergency hazard flash on braking - my 6R GTI doesn't do that I've done some pretty emergency style braking!! Not sure it's worth the £15 though?!?

Are u sure they dont work? I saw them flashing on my mates 9n and he didnt know he had them, his hazards didnt flash inside the car
