The immobiliser is paired to the ECU. If you are using the factory engine and ECU you wont be able to remove the immobiliser. If you remove it, the engine will never start again.

It's a very sturdy system to be fair

You'd have to get it coded out but not sure it's possible on this car

Ok cheers fella much appreciated. By any chance do you know anyone good with wiring as want to sort all wires out and put them out the way as having a few problems with the car at the mo it run a treat but cut a few wires and won't start now I think it's a fuel problem and haven't cut anything major but just won't kick in. as I see your Poole area and I'm Christchurch if you know anyone that would be a massive help

Cheers Nick

What have you cut exactly? You can't cut a lot of wires on these cars as they are very much ecu controlled

Ah nice - good to have more local people on here

yeah its good to see someone local on here then up north :D
well the only wires I have cut is the wires that connect to the glove box, stereo, cig lighter basically the non important ones but it was running fine upto then but I don't know if its the fuel pump as cant hear it kick in or it maybe be the fuel pump relay which is the 410 aint it..it feels like the engine isn't getting any fuel and iv put petrol down carb and it fires up then it cuts out.. any ideas mate

Could well be one of the ones behind the glove box as there's a lot of critical engine wires there

I know a very good guy who would probably know how to work around an immobiliser as part of a custom ECU map.......... he is north west based, rather than the deepest south though.

Wayne Schofield at Chipwizards - I have known him for well over 10 years.

He's great on engines, used by many race teams, but difficult to get hold of even when you know him - you will need to be patient

Contact details here http://business-directory.autosport.com ... ds?cid=258

Put his details into a search engine and you'll get loads of hits
