Sunglasses Holder
I know that this topic was covered slightly on the "Part Numbers" thread, but has anyone bought and fitted the Golf grab handle version? I fitted that to a 2003MY Polo 9N but unfortunately did not think about retaining it for use in wife's new Polo, mainly due to the mention of "glasses holder" some where in the sales bumph - which just, I now know refers to what has been included within the passenger side storage area (glovebox) ?

Re: SUNGLASSES HOLDER
Thanks, I checked the grab handle I had removed from the 9N Polo about 10 years ago, and it seemed to be the same "length" as the current Polo one, now to see if VW still hold any of them (plenty from China I see.), speaking of China, did you see the news report about the explosion - they seemed to be lots of Beetles and maybe Passats toasted!

Re: SUNGLASSES HOLDER
I agree without question, but society in China does not seem to bother too much about the types of humans working/living near that sort of operation. No doubt someone will get shot over what happened!iichel wrote:I'm more worried about people than VW's in those 2 explosions tbh

Re: SUNGLASSES HOLDER
Can you post the part number and approximate cost of the grab-handle glasses holder, please, as I would like one on my BGT. Are they from the latest Mk7 Golf?

Re: SUNGLASSES HOLDER
These used to be "two for a penny" on ebay 10 years ago, now only seem to be coming in from China, I hope that I am not in for a horrible surprise when I wander in to my VW parts place and ask them to order one!

Re: Sunglasses Holder
Well I've been along to my local VW dealer's parts department, and as I dreaded, that sunglasses holder is no longer listed as being available in "our" VW world, so it will be down to getting one in from China for anyone needing to have one!!!

Great, thanks for that. I've ordered a black one. I was shocked to see that $1 now equals more or less €1iichel wrote:No you need one from golf 4 (and relatives)

Re: Sunglasses Holder
Yeah, at $15 they're so cheap you may as well get one just for the hell of it.
