Gearbox options for 1.4tdi
Hi guys, my box has gone in my current car for the second time now, been quoted £750 for a fully rebuilt recon box but I'm worried that that will probably die as well, do any other boxes fit? Something from a bigger engine maybe? Engine code amf. Cheers!

If it's done right with stronger bearings etc it will never die. Change workshop, that's my tip.

As TRiBaL says, uprated bearings from plastic to metal will stop it failing again.
