So you are quite conversant with the 6R 6C BCM wrt doing things like "auto locking"? As far as I have worked out, RossTech have not completed any work on that BCM? (I'd like to be proved wrong BTW)

Edit:- "auto locking" - only 6R - I was wrong! Or was I, maybe that was part of today's edit?

Maybe I've got the wrong end of this stick, but, I think that you will find that JIC Cracked is offering these services in a professional manner, so I would not expect that one of his unlisted services is to train people up on the use of VCDS for free!

There are videos around that teach you the basics. Long coding is very helpful. Always do a scan and record the original settings before changing anything!!!

I agree with you completely, but maybe there is a need for this public forum to create a "traders" area where relevant traders can advertise their services in return for an annual subscription to the forum owner?

It does work for some other motoring forums that I "attend" - but there again that might involve the forum owner needing to carry out a lot more tasks which might not necessarily fit in with his present situation?

I'd think that creating and running one of these forums could be very satisfying, but you would need to watch out as it could quickly evolve into a very time demanding monster that takes over your life.
