It is inevitable.. Ive put it off for too long and am now warming to the idea of a decent remap.
Can I ask - where has everyone got theirs done? How much was it? And what sort of gains did you receive?
Bearing in mind im from Essex.

Just got a reply back from DMA Performance in Essex who can do £250 remap, 103 to 130bhp, and 175 to 215nm

Re: Remapping..
I used VRT tuning in slough, who are a dealer for More-BHP, cant fault the map or the customer service
4000 miles since the remap and the car hasn't skipped a beat.
Drove from Birmingham to Manchester today and the trip computer displayed 60.8mpg, dont know how accurate it is but only used 1/8 of a tank
Power wise, the car went from 90 bhp to 145 bhp as quoted by more bhp on my 1.6 tdi, I have seen a dyno sheet of a more-bhp remap on a 1.6 tdi and peak bhp was 142
I paid £350 for the remap, ECU had to be taken out to 'unlock' it due to encryption
