Headlights ?

Evening all, my little grey slug has suffered a mishap ! I changed the sidelight bulbs recently and must not have put the one in the drivers side back in its holder correctly, anyway it has come unstuck, melted the little socket that it sits in and now won't stay in place ! Question is, does anyone have a spare lying around ? It's the bog standard h4 headlight, also if I can't get a cheap replacement I may look at upgrading to a higher spec model possibly the one with the 2 h7 units in, can this be done as a relatively straightforward swap or is it too much hassle ?

i'd suggest fitting a set of H7 headlight now you have a good excuse to do so

mostly yes. in some cases you need to do a small vcds adjustment

And how would I do the vcds ? I have no idea ?

Anyone else got any help ? Quite fancy the twin h7 hella type units now does this need vcds changes and do they simply plug in to original wiring ?

Could you specify your car? It's a trend line I guess, but a 1.2TDI bluemotion or different? Start/stop?

It's a base model 1.2 60 ps

allright, never mind the vcds option, that is not going to work.
you need to pull one wire
