Water collecting in door sills

Hey guys,

Is it normal to see a bit of water collecting at the bottom of the door sills?

I had this problem earlier in the year but didn't think too much about it at the time. Over the summer there was rarely a problem.

I then fitted genuine VW door still trims (part no. 6R3071303), spending ages following the instructions and making sure that I got the positioning exactly right.

Now I've noticed that they have started to lift up and have water underneath them. The glue strip must have soaked up some of the water too.

This is very annoying as the trims are very expensive for what they are

Anyone else have the same problem?

Oh yes but i dont have the trims but theres always like a big puddle in my door sill. Im very annoyed and afraid if its going to rust out later on :/
