Slightly odd one, I've noticed that the throttle response has become slightly hesitant on my 1.2Tsi (CBZB)
It appears fine when depressing the throttle but when you come off the power instead of dropping straight back to 600rpm tick-over it just drops to about 800-1000 then slowly creeps down, you can sort of feel it when you're driving as if throttle is slow coming off the power. Sometimes it doesn't creep down but if you blip the throttle slightly it will drop to 600rpm. You can notice it at start-up when the 1.2Tsi does it's party trick of a few seconds at 1200rpm before dying back to 600. At the moment mine doesn't always die back to 600rpm.
Any ideas? I guess as the Polo is fly by wire it could be a sticky throttle actuator motor? Could it just need cleaning or are they prone to failure? Only guessing really. No warning lights on and car goes as it should (as yet) but it's just niggling me.
Car is due to be serviced in a little over a month so unless it packs in it can wait, but any Ideas. I don't have a fault code reader just to check.
