Hi all,
I'm loving my 6n2 gti but I'm wanting to get on some track days! I haven't seen many people using them on the track? So I'm torn between putting some money into the polo or spending a couple grand on a cheap "track ready car".. Probably a clio 182, forgive me lol.. What's people's experiences and opinions on them?
What are 6n2 GTI'S like on track?

Re: What are 6n2 GTI'S like on track?
I took my black one round Croft last year - just a bit of a demo drive for a competitors friend who wanted to see the circuit.
It handled very well, though with no brake or tyre changes (I just drove to the circuit in it and happened to have it there, didn't even drop the pressures) the front tyres were soon squealing, overheating and there was a strong smell of brake dust.
Given the power difference I think a Clio 182 would be more suitable, and they also handle very well, but then again can't complain so much as I was catching a new Porsche 991 up in the Polo
