6N2 remote control

Hello guys,

I own 2000 VW polo 6N2. My car include central locking and electric mirrors but...

I'd like to retrofit OEM remote central locking control.

Please may I ask is it possible to retrofit with OEM parts from scapyard ?

I've read some forums but I am not 100% sure how to do that.

My plan is to buy comfort control module (CCM) with remote key fob from car with remote control.

Is it gonna work ? just plug in new CCM and done ?

The 6n2 it's easier to do an rclick system as detailed in the DIY guides section

It's not like the later models where it's just a CCM swap

well... I've read about rclick but I want OEM only

These cars don't have a CCM like the later 9n models. You would need to replace a lot more than just a box and code it in unfortunately

Up to you though. Rclick do a plug and play kit and an original remote to go with it on any case.

The last thing I am not sure is key. I've looked into their site and there are flip keys but I wanted this year correct one
so can I use this old "non flip" model with rclick ?

No. You would have to ask rclick for one of the non flip keys they offer (they will swap)

There's more wiring needed than just the convenience module and the key plus the key blade isn't replaceable. You would have to transfer the transponder which is incredibly difficult to remove on these keys plus do the necessary wiring and coding

Hello again, well I've decided to go OEM way
CCM and wiring is done. Everything is working.
Now I am thinking about 3button flip key for this ccm.
Is it possible ?
My polo has pneumatic central locking so is possible to unlock just boot with third button ?
Has VW polo had this function ?

Third button will not work on here. That's only for the later models with electric central locking
