My 1.2 TDi has just clicked over 60k miles and is approx 5 years old.
Do I change the timing belt now, or will it be ok for a while longer? I have changed timing belts myself in the past but intend to take this one to a garage, and not VW who will rip me off £££££!
Cheers for your advice.

Re: Timing Belt change?
They are supposed to last 210.000 km so about 130.000 miles

Re: Timing Belt change?
Its time and mileage. If its 5 years, its due to be replaced
Get a local VW specialist to do the belt and the waterpump.
