Anyone got a rearguard fitted?

Post by MattBlueGT »

Anyone have a rearguard fitted on their back bumper? Just wondered what the actual final product looks like on the car as the images on the Rearguard website are only representative. Pics would be appreciated folks, particularly on a white polo :)

I presume you mean the Richard Grant product.

I've had them on a few cars, they are well made and a good and easy fit, they provide excellent protection.

I've got a carbon fibre finish rear guard which goes well with my Blue Silk BGT. Very unobtrusive and highly recommended, their sill guards are very good too.

I'd imagine a carbon fibre finish rearguard would look good on a white Polo, it's not bulbous and would be a good counterpoint to the brilliant white. Simple carbon fibre VW badge inserts go well with it and look that little bit different.

Love to send a picture but car and I are currently on different sides of the channel.

Had one on a Fiat 500 for five or so years, still looked as good as new. RG are a good firm to deal with

Thanks, maybe carbon effect would be the way to go. I don't doubt the quality, I had some Richard grant bits on my old Capri including the elusive rear spoiler, good stuff!!

Is it a textured carbon finish or does it look like a glossy and obviously printed finish?
