Exactly but I tried to avoid the technical bit, when I was "young" we used to have a Styre Puch Hafflinger(sp?) 4X4 for off road work, and it had a hollow prop shaft running at high speed front-to-rear, the plan was to keep the mass down, torque loading down, torque handling up - and as the drive shafts entered the top of the drive hubs through reduction gearing, increase the ground clearance.iichel wrote:and also have the same torsion strength, to avoid torque-steer
