6c gti strange tinny rattle.sound

I have noticed when revving the car up the range what.sounds like a rattle as it drops back down sort of heat shield rattle. Took.it to VW and technician says it sounds like injector opening and.closing. We compared it to.another 16reg gti and.it made the same kind of.rattle. Anyone else noticed this. He said it's normal but still not convinced...

Mine does it, I just presumed it was a heat shield resonating.
