... works very well. Even my missus who refuses to do anything to the car recognized something needed attention!
First warning was to check tyre pressures, which I did and reinflated all the tyres, noting the rear left seemed slightly lower than the others. 6 days later the warning came up again and identified the rear left specifically. A quick trip to the garage revealed a nail in the tread (fixable luckily) and all was well again.
Probably saved the tyre, which still has 7 mm on it after 11,000 miles. The fronts are down to 5mm and 4mm. So probably another 4 or 5k for the fronts and forever for the rears at that rate. Bridgestone Potenza S001's.

Thanks for that PB, nobody wants a puncture but is comforting to know that the system does what it says on the tin. I can recall many instances over the years where such a device would have saved me a lot of money not to mention grief.

some weeks ago my gf actually had a MIL. she reported it to me and she noted that she already made a vcds scan. moment of pride.
