HI guys and gals
I'm picking up my first new car on the 28th merry Christmas me!
brought from car wow but i have a 100 mile trip to pick it up which I don't mind but the sales guy has said he wants me to sign finance docs that he is going to scan over to me because they can't release the car before they get their money, i haven't seen the car yet, should i wait until I see to sign these documents? I'm confident my dealer won't get anything wrong and the car, have i got anything to worry about if I sign them beforehand i.e what about if the car has dents or difenciates slightly from what i have ordered, im sure it wont but am i protected if ive signed the docs

always check it first. it woudn't be the first time a brand spanking new car would miss some equipment or accessories.

I did this recently.
Sign the contract as has to be approved before you can collect. But don't pay the final deposit until you pick it up and are happy.
So you can still back out until then.

signing the finance before collection is normal. you sign a "collection note" when you pick up to car to say it is correct spec etc and their is no damage.

I think that MczZippy is correct. It is normal. I signed the finance documents online. Due to the distance from Listers Nuneaton to Essex, they delivered on a transporter free of charge and I checked the car and then signed the collection document
