2016 Polo R-Line (6C?) Wing mirror replacment

Hey guys,

So today about an hour ago I went to go drive in my car to the shops when I notice that my drivers side wing mirror has been taken off my some *insert bad language here* . No note or anything.
I have noticed that it was hit from the direction of oncoming traffic... My worry is I have inspected the mounting bracket for the mirror and the metal part has split into two sections. So Im unsure if I require more than just a new wing mirror or if it is part of the wing mirror its self?

I know its possible to get a new plastic cover for the back of the wing mirror, is it possible to get a new metal brackert and plastic cover for the door? I dont really want to buy a whole new unit just for two parts if possible.

Anyway, I have attached a picture to make it more clear hopefully.

Can a 2015 wing mirror fit a 2016? They look idential to me form the pictures and I can only assume its maybe the connectors that are different?

1 and 4 I would say. The insulation (part 10) looks fine.

No. 1 depends of your car: With/without heat, folding etc. And is more or less the whole mirror. Only the mirror glass itself and the mirror cap (No. 4) are not included.
No. 4 right side: 6R0857538BGRU (primed). 6R0857538C9B9 (satin black).

I went to my local VW garage and they wanted to charge me £175 for No.1and £40 for No.4. But if I wanted it painted and fitted it would be £450!!!

So I found a local scrapyard that has the full wing mirror for a 6C in Black for £91. I am getting a car ding removed from my door that involves respraying and they have my paint code for a match. This involves taking the doorcard off so I will get it fitted and painted then... for alot cheaper than £450
