Lower Grille Replacement

Post by Ash6R »

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has installed a lower grille on their polo, like this one:

and if so, i was wondering how easy it is to do it yourself and if you will need to remove the entire front bumper.

It can be done without removing the bumper. The clips are very strong and often break when removing the grille. You can loop wire into either side of the grill and pull firmly but be prepared for it to be unusable afterwards

That's good then, i thought it will be much more complicated. Thanks for the reply.

How do you unclip the fog covers, is there tabs you have to pull out?

Yes, you use the metal loop in the spare wheel kit to do it
